Plymouth Philharmonic Choir and Orchestra at Plymouth Guildhall

We are one of the West Country's most respected and prominent choirs with members from a wide variety of backgrounds.

A history stretching back to 1970 combined with a forward-thinking approach means we have an impressive track record and exciting plans for the future! The 160 members of the choir perform a variety of music in the city of Plymouth and often elsewhere in the country and abroad. We have won widespread acclaim for our inspiring concerts, which often include internationally respected soloists.

Our Director and Conductor, Christopher Fletcher, has led the choir since 1996, during which time we have grown in number and reputation.

We are delighted to have as our patron Sir Thomas Allen, established star of the great opera houses of the world.

We begin rehearsals for our next concert on:
Thursday 12th April 2012
(75% of rehearsals must be attended in order to sing in this concert)

NB: Thursday 21st June: rehearsal at the CHAPEL.
